Perfect Grading Lines

As fruits such as apples and pears require delicate handling, to make sure that only the highest quality pieces reach the customer, all Perfect grading machines are developed with minimum transitions to prevents damaging while ensuring precise sorting and offering maximum returns.

There is a large number of sorting solutions available from Perfect ranging from an affordable mechanical or electronic machine which grades by weight to state-of-the-art sorting lines which sort on multiple external and internal characteristics.

The MGS mechanical cup sorting machine has been a popular sorting solution for fruit and vegetable growers around the globe for decades because of its simplicity and reliability.

This mechanical weight sizer is an affordable and easy to use machine for sorting products using mechanical weighing scales. Because of its simple construction and great reliability, it has for many years been an economical option for smaller or new growers.

Thanks to the sorting system with very spacious cups, the machine is an all-round grading machine for a wide range of round fruits including apples, pears and peaches. The fruit is delivered to the cups with a singulator, where they are singled out to make sure that every cup contains only one fruit when being weighed.

The desired weight can be selected for every weight section with an indicator clock. By defining the size/weight ratio, a simple sorting by size can be realised with the heaviest (largest) fruits are dropped at the first exit and the lighter fruits later.

The fruit is distributed per exit, based on weight and growers can set the fruit friendly handling machine to spread one weight class out over multiple exits if required.

Available with 2, 3 or 4 lanes, the capacity of this machine is approximately 750 kg/hour/lane, depending on the average weight of the fruits. With a weighing range of 40 – 700 grams, the MGS is suitable for round fruits between 40- and 110-mm diameter.

The Perfect Uni-Grader grading machine sorts on both diameter, weight, colour and external quality with which nearly every round/half round kind of fruit can be sorted. Developed to also sort Conference pears perfectly, the machine is equipped with extra-wide singulator brushes to be able to also process very long pears without any problems.

Many years of experience in developing and collaborating with a large number of growers and processors have enabled Perfect to develop the machine with the most fruit friendly handling. The Uni-Grader truly sets a new standard for damage-free and quick sorting of very delicate fruits like Conference pears or Golden Delicious apples.

The Uni-Grader is also a very user-friendly machine, the noise level is very low, and cleaning and maintaining this machine is very simple too. The fruit is delivered to the grading machine with rotating singulator brushes where mounted cameras scan each individual product in numerous positions as the product rotates.

The user-friendly Windows 10 based sorting software enables the user to create their own simple or elaborate sorting programmes in which it brings a product with certain characteristics to a specified exit.

An optical sorting on external quality is possible for apples, pears and citrus fruits; the user sets the maximum number of spots and/or the maximum percentage of the surface that is allowed to differ.

The Uni-Grader electronic sorting machines are available with 2, 3, 4, 6 or 8 lanes and depending on the average weight of the fruit, sorting capacities are around 1,250 kg per lane per hour. This grader sorts by weight, size, colour/bloom and external quality and is suitable for fruits between 35- and 110-mm diameter.

The Perfect Uni-Cup grading machine ensures a very accurate registration of the diameter of various kinds of fruit and the sorting can be precisely tuned by combining the size and colour/bloom.

Thanks to the sorting system with universal spacious cups, the machine is an all-round grading machine for a wide range of round fruits including apples, pears and peaches. The fruit is delivered to the cups with a rotating singulator and singled out on the brushes. While the fruit is rotating, a large number of photos per fruit is taken and the intelligent software determines the optimum place to determine the maximum diameter.

The user-friendly Windows 10 based sorting software enables the user to create their own sorting programme and growers can determine what type of fruit will be taken to which exit.
