“NP Seymour is brilliant to deal with too. Personally, I like working with them because the sales reps are always really nice. Aside from that Nick is always at the end of the phone and it’s useful to be able to speak directly to someone who’s responsible, without being passed around various people. We had some teething problems working out how to fit the mower to the front, but Nick sorted that out very quickly. Goudhurst is also quite a long, inconvenient trip from Canterbury, but we’ve phoned and ordered parts in the past which have arrived next day in the post. The whole team is very nice to deal with and they do provide very good service.”
“We moved to Fendt originally due to the excellent cab and the protection it provided when spraying. Over the years, the quality and reliability of Fendt tractors, together with the support provided by the local dealer NP Seymour has kept us coming back for more.”
“It is about going to the right people for the right things. NP Seymour is a specialist dealership and viticulture is a market the team is focused on. When they delivered the equipment they were very good at showing me how to use everything and doing a full demonstration. I am very happy with everything.”
Engineering is something which NP Seymour does really well; they provide a great service, and everything is always really well produced.
Despite being so far away I felt very comfortable using NP Seymour. Sam was pretty responsive and accommodating to any questions. I spoke to Nick who asked if we could send measurements for the tractor, and Sam delivered the vine trimmer with a bracket for our tractor. It was really easy right the way through.
The support from NP Seymours is unbelievable. Anyone can sell you a machine, but growers need backup, and no one can offer the support which Nick Seymour and his team offer. It is the whole package. They understand the farming business and are not just focused on sales.

“We decided to go with the Fruit-tec mainly because we will also be able to attach the Darwin mechanical blossom thinner, and a hedge cutter attachment for pruning, to the same frame. NP Seymour has been very good to work with. They came out to help us set it all up and spent an hour with us out in the orchard. There have been no problems at all.”

“In terms of cost savings, the Darwin is about 1/20th the cost of thinning out too many apples by hand later in the season. It has saved us a lot of money. It paid for itself in year one with the reduction in hand thinning costs and is now a key part of our orchard management programme.”
“The service from NP Seymour is fantastic. I know that I can phone the office with any engineering questions, even if it’s about a piece of equipment they don’t supply, and Nick will always come up with a solution.”
“We have been working very closely with Nick and his team for nearly two decades to get the best application methods for our crops. All the sprayers are ‘overly engineered’ and the build quality is exceptional. Everything is galvanised and we have never had a mechanical fault and have only ever had to do routine maintenance.”
“NP Seymour is a well-run family business and there’s a reason they’ve been there for such a long time. The level of service is very good and while we haven’t had any issues at all with the tractors, if we did I know they would be straight out or able to fix smaller issues over the telephone.”
