We currently have a new vacancy for an experienced agricultural technician/engineer.
The role will include servicing, diagnosing, and repairing orchard and vineyard tractors, the majority of which will be Fendt. Our technicians also repair and maintain sprayers, a wide range of machinery, and packhouse equipment.
The role will also include assisting in the assembly and manufacture of bespoke-made machinery. Work will be carried out both on-farm and at our Avon Works site in Kent, as such a full driving licence is necessary.
The ideal candidate would have an understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems, welding and fabrication skills, be computer literate, and have experience within the agricultural, horticultural or viticultural industries. Training will be given where required.
The role is Customer facing and involves ordering, receiving and selling parts and accessories.
Typical daily duties will involve assisting customers with machinery part enquiries and orders, identifying parts, placing orders with suppliers, checking and receiving orders into stock , organising parts and assisting with stock control.
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of agricultural machinery, excellent IT and customer service skills, be highly organised and able to prioritise tasks while working efficiently as part of a team and also from own initiative.
Specialist Fruit and Vineyard Sales Representative
We currently have a new vacancy for a specialist fruit and vineyard sales representative.
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our growing family-run business.
The ideal candidate would have a proven sales background, experience within the agriculture industry and a basic understanding of machinery.
The role is varied and will include office based work alongside travel to fruit and vine growing areas of the UK.
A clean driving licence and computer literacy skills are a necessity. A package including a competitive salary with commission and a company vehicle will be provided.
